This Privacy Policy explains how Peptia ("Peptia," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the Peptia mobile application and the peptia.app website (together, the "Service"). We built Peptia to be private by default. Please read this policy carefully.
1. Information we collect
Information you enter into the app
When you use Peptia, you may enter information such as the compounds you track, vial and dosing details, injection times and sites, side-effect notes, and schedule settings. This information is stored locally on your device. It is not transmitted to our servers, and we cannot access it.
Information we do not collect
Peptia does not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or payment information to use the core features of the app. We do not collect health records, identity documents, or precise location data.
Website information
The peptia.app website is hosted on Cloudflare. Our hosting provider may automatically process limited technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, for the purposes of delivering and securing the website. If you submit your email address through a waitlist or contact form on the website, we use it only to respond to you or to notify you about the Service, and we do not sell it.
2. How we use information
Because the core app data stays on your device, we use information only in limited ways:
- To operate, secure, and improve the website.
- To respond to messages you send us.
- To send you updates about Peptia if you have asked us to (for example, by joining a waitlist). You can opt out at any time.
3. Analytics and third-party services
At launch, Peptia does not include third-party advertising or cross-app tracking. If we add privacy-respecting analytics or crash reporting in the future to understand how the Service is used and to fix problems, we will update this policy and our App Store privacy disclosures accordingly. We will never sell your personal information.
4. How your data is stored and protected
App data is stored locally on your device and is subject to your device's own security protections, such as your passcode or biometric lock. Because we do not hold your app data on our servers, the most important safeguards are the ones you control on your device. We encourage you to use a device passcode and to keep your device software up to date.
5. Deleting your data
You can delete your data at any time by clearing it within the app or by deleting the app from your device, which removes the locally stored information. If you have contacted us or joined a waitlist and would like us to delete your email address, contact us at the address below and we will do so.
6. Children's privacy
Peptia is intended for adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.
7. International users
The Service is operated from our location and may be accessed from other countries. By using the Service, you understand that any limited website information described above may be processed in the country where our hosting provider operates. Where required by law, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you; contact us to exercise those rights.
8. Not medical advice
Peptia is a calculation and tracking tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it does not recommend any specific medication, dose, protocol, or vendor. 9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be communicated through the Service where appropriate.
